Tippet material Stroft ABR
Code:3351 |
The abbreviation ABR stands for abrasion resistance. Achieving the same braking strain as Stroft GTM, is a furder tuning objective. These aims were achieved in a heat treatment process, whereby pressure is applied in order to compact the surface making the line more resilent to UV rays and scratches. Also water absorption is reduced which improves wet knot strenght. Stroft ABR tends to be slightly harder than GTM, but can still be considered as a supple, all round nylon. Fauna fly shop recommends to use Stroft ABR on tech. demanding rivers with lots of debree or sharp rock riverbed.
