Ephemera vulgata and more known ephemera Danica (Mayfly) are often on a menu of grayling and trout especially in the time when this beautiful flies are having their hatch. A pair of beautiful wings and above the hanging body inspired first fly fisherman to call this fly a water wisp or water flower!
